Club Rules
Dress Requirement
Dress to be neat and casual at all times.
It is important that members wear the correct form of attire while playing golf and when socialising in the clubhouse.
No member or visitor is permitted to wear singlets, tee-shirts or thongs on the golf course or in the clubhouse. Shorts may be accompanied by short socks, however these must be neatly worn.
Lady members and visitors are not permitted to wear leggings or short shorts.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your attire and that of your friends and visitors meet the specified guidelines set out by the club.
Course Conduct
The committee have determined that people accompanying players on the course must conform with dress regulations.
General Conduct
Members are responsible for the conducts of their guests whilst on the club premises. Members and guests are required to maintain a high standard of conduct while in the club. Conduct prejudicial to the interest of the club could lead to suspension. Members and guests intoxicated or unsuitably dressed will be requested to leave the premises. Members must sign-in their guests upon entry to clubhouse.
General Conditions of Play
Where dates are fixed by the Match Committee for play for the Club Trophy events - members must play or forfeit.
In scratch match play events, if the match is square after 18 holes, the match shall be continued, hole by hole, until a result is obtained (sudden death).
The play-off should start at the hole where the match began, and strokes should be given and received as in the stipulated round. (see definition 'Stipulated Round').
The committee should lay down that players are to proceed directly from the last hole of the match to the next hole, and that the play off is an extension of the stipulated round.Official Club events take precedence over social events. All competitions are under the control of the Match committee, which reserves the right to change, alter any date or, vary or cancel any competition.
The player on the lowest handicap in any match or competition automatically becomes captain of his/her match. He/She shall ensure that etiquette, the rules of golf and general conditions of play are strictly observed.
EACH PLAYER MUST HAVE A SEPARATE SET OF CLUBS
A MAXIMUM OF FOUR PLAYERS IN ANY ONE GROUP DURING A ROUND OF GOLF AT ANY GIVEN TIME WITHOUT PERMISSION.
NO MORE THAN TWO (2) JUNIORS PERMITTED IN A GROUP WITHOUT PERMISSION.
The committee has deemed that mobile phones should be turned off during any competition or championship events. Permission may be granted in special circumstances - through a written letter to the committee to allow them to be turned on. The use of motorised carts is prohibited during any championship events with the exception of the user receiving prior consent of the committee in the usual manner.
