Hole 7 |
Mens - 440m Par 5 / Index 17
Ladies - 403m Par 5 / Index 4 The 2nd of the shorter par 5's, this hole requires a tee shot placed to the right side of the fairway, with out of bounds down the entire left side snaring any balls that stray too far. Once your tee shot is negotiated it will allow you to then either have a crack at the green, or hit a lay up to about the 100 metre mark. Big hitters can chose a line down the left hand side of the fairway to carry the bunkers on the left hand side, which shortens the hole considerably. Approaches to the green must have enough strength to get up the false front, but going long brings a tough chip and even the out-of-bounds fence into play. Putts on this green tend to break firmly right. A very good birdie chance if played well. |
